Nominate a Hero

Who Can Be Nominated?

Any civilian who, without professional obligation, voluntarily risked death or serious physical injury to save or attempt to save the life of another person in Sri Lanka.

Nominations are accepted for acts that occurred within the past two years. Family members, witnesses, community leaders, or anyone with knowledge of the act may submit a nomination.

Submit the Form Complete and submit the nomination form with all available details about the act and the hero.

FCB Review Our committee will review the nomination and may contact you for additional information.

Investigation A thorough investigation of the act is conducted, including interviews with witnesses.

Award Decision The committee makes a final decision. Successful nominees are invited to the annual ceremony.
